If you think you’re seeing a spike but Lingo doesn’t call it a spike and assign a Lingo Count, it may be just background variation in glucose that doesn’t reach the thresholds for change in glucose to be considered a spike – essentially a hill rather than a mountain. Most of these fluctuations can be ignored. While we are always working to improve how we detect spikes, we don’t always get it right, so it is possible you’ve seen a spike that we missed. Future improvements to Lingo will correct this.
