How are Lingo Counts aggregated for the day?

The Lingo algorithm considers your baseline glucose and your real-time glucose every time a spike starts. Lingo evaluates the size of the spike (the height and shape of the curve), and how long a spike lasts. On your glucose graph, you’ll see the Lingo Count value assigned to each spike. Your Lingo Count total updates live throughout the day and can always be found at the top of your Today screen. 

Remember, Lingo Counts are a tool designed to simplify your glucose exposure and help you stay steady.  Your goal is to stay within your Lingo Count target each day. If you find that you easily stay within your target, or you need a more generous target, you can modify your target by:

• Tapping on “The Plan”
• Select “Progress”
• SUnder “This week’s target” tap on your Lingo Count target number
• In the pop-up window, use the “+/-” to adjust your Lingo Count target.
