Can biosensors withstand hot or cold environments?

The Lingo biosensor has an operating temperature of 10°C to 45°C (50 °F to 113 °F). If you use it outside this range, you’ll see messages that say “biosensor too hot” or “biosensor too cold”:

Biosensors may not transmit data outside of their operating temperature range. When operating temperature range is restored, biosensors should function normally within about 15 minutes.
